Le document numérique est soumis à un double fossé : la dégénérescence de son support et la perte du sens associée au document. L’hypothèse d’une possible restauration de l’intelligibilité du document patrimonial nous amène à considérer une méthode de redocumentarisation de l’archive au sein d’un dispositif numérique annotationnel mobilisant de manière expérimentale le web des données en tant que réseau de ressources liées et ouvertes. La construction de cet artefact est le fruit d’une double expérimentation : l’étude sémiotique d’un corpus de contenus patrimoniaux nous amène à comprendre le parcours interprétatif d’un témoin universel lors du visionnage d’une archive, tandis que les résultats sont transcrits en recommandations ergonomiques et éditoriales destinées à l’implémentation du dispositif. Ce dernier soulève de par son positionnement patrimonial une tension éditoriale entre mémoire et oubli. L’environnement de conception du dispositif, ses composantes et les représentations transmises sont examinés afin d’en déduire le modèle dominant et les enjeux prescriptifs associés. La présente contribution s’articule en deux volets : un état des lieux de la recherche sémiotique et technologique en cours, suivi d’une prise de recul quant au projet éditorial par le prisme des concepts de mémoire et d’oubli, appliqué à l’écosystème numérique. Abstract: Nowadays, the common way to transmit cultural heritage is under its digital form. The digital document suffers from a technological and cultural gap, its integrity and cultural meaning disappearing over time. We show that restoring the document intelligibility is possible through a redocumentation approach. The digital heritage document is processed into an annotational artefact, which uses the web of data as an experimental source of linked and open knowledge. We build the artefact through a double process. On the first hand, a semiotic study of digital heritage documents allows us to understand a universal interpretation path while watching a cultural archive. On the second hand, we convert the results of the semiotic study into ergonomic and editorial recommendations for the annotational device. Considering its patrimonial positioning, the artefact emphasises an editorial tension between memory and oblivion. Then, we examine the device conception environment, its editorial features and its associated prescriptive issues.
