Elle mérite d’être éclairée sociologiquement. Pour ce faire, l’objectif du chapitre est double : clarifier le sens de ces termes et analyser les influences des reconfigurations de la distance sociale professeur-élèves sur les comportements des premiers envers les seconds. À partir d’entretiens menés auprès d’enseignants du secondaire, il s’attache à montrer comment les influences des reconfigurations de la distance sociale, contrariées, consenties, voire subies, transforment ou non leurs pratiques langagières orales. Social distance and social link are important in the relationships between teachers and pupils. This question deserves to be examined with a sociological eye. The aim of this book chapter is to clarify the meaning of the terms (“social distance” and “social link”) and to analyze the influences of the social distance reconfigurations on the behavior of the first towards the second.
