Ses engagements illustrent les combats qui agitent la sphère intellectuelle dans la seconde moitié du xxème siècle : membre du parti communiste jusqu’en 1956, elle s’engage en faveur des droits des femmes et des homosexuel-les, contre le colonialisme, la psychiatrie et les sectes… Féministe convaincue, elle est aussi la mère de la pensée écoféministe en France. Plus qu’un mot, l’écoféminisme d’Eaubonne est un véritable projet de société dans lequel la lutte contre le capitalisme rejoint le féminisme et l’écologie. La mutation de société que nous propose Françoise d’Eaubonne a une proximité manifeste avec l’idéologie du mouvement actuel de la Décroissance. Abstract: Françoise d'Eaubonne is a French author and activist. Her commitments illustrate the struggles that agitated the intellectual sphere in the second half of the 20th century: a member of the communist party until 1956, she was committed to women's and homosexuals' rights, against colonialism, psychiatry and sects... A convinced feminist, she is also the mother of ecofeminist thought in France. More than a word, Eaubonnien's ecofeminism is a real project of society in which the fight against capitalism meets feminism and ecology.
