Cette recherche vise à étudier si les tiers-lieux actuels peuvent incarner cet idéal-type. Huit tiers-lieux nantais ont été analysés sous l’angle de l’autoproduction, la démocratisation, la communalisation et la coopération. Les résultats suggèrent que les tiers-lieux peuvent devenir des terreaux de la transition post-croissance, sous certaines conditions. Quelques pistes de réflexion sont ensuite proposées pour rapprocher les tiers-lieux des principes décroissants. Abstract: Third places as originally defined by Ray Oldenburg come close to the ideal-type of the degrowth common. This research aims to study whether current third places can embody the ideal-type of the "degrowth common". Eight third places in Nantes were analyzed from the perspective of self-production, democratization, communalization and cooperation. The results suggest that third places can become hotbeds of the post-growth transition, under certain conditions.
