Pour répondre à cette question, cet article s’intéresse d’abord à la place qu’occupe l’ESS dans les théories de la décroissance, particulièrement aux tensions qui les traversent, à ses perspectives comme à ses limites. Il relève ensuite ce qui, dans l’ESS, peut contribuer à une économie de la post-croissance tant du point de vue du développement méso-économique territorial que des modes d’entreprendre coopératif. Ce jeu de miroirs permet non seulement d’élucider le problème qui entoure la notion de développement, mais aussi d’ouvrir la voie à des convergences entre les deux mouvements. Abstract: Under what conditions can the SSE provide a mode of enterprise and development for post-growth? To answer this question, this article first looks at the place occupied by the SSE in degrowth theories, particularly the tensions that run through them, its prospects and its limits. It then looks at what the SSE can contribute to a post-growth economy, both from the point of view of territorial meso-economic development and cooperative modes of enterprise.
