Le campement de réfugié·e·s est un lieu d’étape singulier, dont rend compte la « littérature-refuge ». Cette littérature collecte les voix des protagonistes de l’exil et de l’accueil et interroge ce que réfugier signifie. Ses formes sont multiples : anthologies, collectifs, essais poétiques, discours, fiction, théâtre, performance, et s’approchent d’une littérature d’intervention. À partir d’une réflexion poétique, elle s’intéresse à différentes possibilités d’habiter le monde, d’habiter le mouvement, à travers les œuvres de nombreux écrivains et écrivaines contemporains : Arno Bertina, Patrick Chamoiseau, Marie Cosnay, Bruno Doucey, Marielle Macé, Hala Mohammad, Stephen Ngatcheu, Florence Pazzottu, Olivia Rosenthal, Jean-Pierre Siméon… The places where migrants live reveal to contemporary societies the most extreme experience of destitution: the feeling of “living outside”. The refugees’ encampment is a singular place of stopover, addressed by the “refuge-literature”. This literature collects the voices of the exile protagonists and questions what taking/seeking refuge means. Its forms are multiple: anthologies, collectives, poetic essays, speeches, fiction, theater, performance. They get close to intervention literature. Le refuge matérialise une étape existentielle en faisant office d’écrin propitiatoire, mais son contenu reste d’autant plus magique qu’il est labile, qu’il révèle un désir d’absolu, un ailleurs intemporel alternatif aux contraintes inexorables de l’existence. Le refuge alpin s’inscrit en somme dans une concaténation mémorielle d’hommes désireux d’offrir l’hospitalité tout en maintenant un rapport harmonieux avec la nature. Abstract: Enrico Camanni’s, Paolo Cognetti’s and Carlo Budel’s novels depict a whole journey in the Western Alps and the Dolomites that goes hand in hand with an inner wandering. The refuge materializes an existential stage by acting as a propitiatory setting, but its content remains all the more magical as it is labile, that it reveals a will for the absolute, a timeless alternative elsewhere to the inexorable constraints of existence.
